Stress Relief Techniques

  1. Deep Breaths - take some time out and take deep regular breaths, breath in...breath out...This will also work great in conjunction with getting some fresh air, get away from your desk for 5 minutes!
  2. Noting - this is a great technique and allows you to right down or record your thoughts, obviously if it's your boss who is stressing you out make sure you don't leave your thoughts laying around or your boss could be in for a surprise!!
  3. Listen To Music - grab five minutes on a break to listen to some music on your ipod or car stereo. Listening to your favourite song can provide some welcome stress relief.
  4. Laughter - Is one of the best medicines and your troubles can seem a mile away after a good laugh. Laughing actually releases endorphins which are a feel good factor and your stress levels should soon be on their way down.
